Discover Club Estates East

Experience mid-twentieth century architecture as you stroll through landscaped courtyards in Club Estates East (CEE) located in southeast Portland, Oregon. CEE is a private senior (55+) complex with 80 one-, two-, and three-bedroom condominiums. All buildings are single level, including the clubhouse. 

Each condo fronts on a courtyard and has its own private covered patio and enclosed backyard sanctuary from which a path leads to covered and guest parking. A storage shed is also provided. The double wall construction between units provides privacy and noise control from adjacent neighbors. The landscaped and irrigated grounds are maintained by the HOA.

The large CEE clubhouse is well-appointed with a full kitchen, library, and the administrative office. In addition to being reserved for private events by our residents, the clubhouse accommodates various ongoing activities, including monthly potluck dinners, and book club meetups and weekly events such as Tai-Chi, chat groups, prayer groups, puzzling, and bluegrass music. 

The outdoor swimming pool, heated for the maximum comfort of our senior residents, is located immediately adjacent to the clubhouse. The pool is generally open from late spring through early fall, depending on the weather.

Safety and security are a priority. CEE sits on a private cul-de-sac, affording neighborhood quietude, privacy, and security. Wi-fi security cameras located throughout the community provide video feed for both resident and police use. Streetside large locking mailboxes are assigned to each owner.

CEE is self-managed by a volunteer board of five elected members, each serving three-year terms. The board is supported by several committees comprised of residents with various skill levels and interests. The monthly board meetings are open to all owners.

A food exchange pantry and medical equipment lending program, neither of which are owned or directed by the HOA, are coordinated and run by resident volunteers and are available to all residents. The medical equipment and food are donated by CEE residents.
